Message from the President

Dear Members and Friends,

I trust you all are having a great summer so far.

I like to thank all our members who helped out in the German pavilion during the Heritage Days festival this past weekend. This year the GCBPAA really came through with a lot of volunteers to help out the GCAA who was really struggling to find volunteers for this important event.  

The executive has been busy over the last weeks working on our 40^th anniversary celebration, working on different venues and food issues as well as vision and mission statement and the objectives of our association. We will publish these not later than at our meeting in September.  Our 40^th anniversary will be held on Oct. 21, 2011 at the Cultural Centre. Our next meeting will take place on Sept 13 and our speaker is going to be Mr. Stanton, owner of the Running Room with his idea of "Creating a Triple Win".
