Unfortunately, we have to accept the fact that our membership basis has dropped significantely. It is obvious that we cannot go on like this and so, we have to ask the question if our association has outgrown its purpose. Please, join us this evening to discuss how we should move on.

Christmas is approaching fast. Therefore, get ready to join us for an informal meeting at the GCCC Christmas Party on Dec. 2nd. We'll reserve a couple of tables and hope to have a great evening in the spirit of the season. The evening is free for members, guest pay $40 per ticket (price form the GCCA).
Doors will open at 5:30p and dinner starts at 6:30p.

Nanotechnology is our topic for our upcoming November meeting. We invited great speakers who will give us an overview about the current status of the research and answer questions like for what is this technology good and how can it be utilized in a business way to create value for the province. Furthermore, we're invited to see the laboratories of the NINT – National Institute for Nanotechnology at the University of Alberta.
We’ll meet at the Taylor Room within the NINT at 11421 Saskatchewan Drive - North part of the University of Alberta (first floor, right by the main entrance).
Tours will start at 4.30 pm sharp! Please, register yourself with us of you want to take the tour - registration is necessary!
Formal start with presentations begins at 5.30 pm. Our speakers are:
Members and guests are welcomed. You may join at either one of these starting times but, again, please make sure to be on time for the lab tours.
